Heather Mastrangeli is a creative mind transforming environments near her home in Chicago as well as across the globe. Graduating with a bachelor of fine art in interior design, Heather set to make an impact on the world, and help people do what they do better and inspire them to lead better lives because of the environments that surround them.
Working primarily in the commercial sector, Heather also does exhibit design, stage design, set design, theatrical lighting design, healthcare design and residential, but only as a favor for a friend.
Having a passion for design, Heather is always seeking opportunities to become a better person and interior designer. Becoming an IIDA (International Interior Design Association) member has opened Heather up to abundant educational opportunities and has helped her stay abreast of the interior design marketplace as well as meet other career focused individuals. Joining the USGBC (United States Green Building Council) demonstrates her passion for learning more about designing with environmental impact in mind. Heather recently organized a LEED GA study group and is feverishly studying to gain her LEED GA Accreditation.
When Heather is not designing or at an industry event she likes to take guitar lessons with her husband, go sailing, workout or glass blow at a local glass studio. Heather and her husband live with their two cats and guinea pig in the Chicago suburbs.
